The Challenge
The City of Santa Monica needed a clean, accessible website to support its Green Business Certification program and promote businesses committed to environmentally responsible practices.
The site needed to make it easy for businesses to learn about the certification program while also increasing the visibility of companies that had already earned certification.
Our Approach
Bold Array created a clean, straightforward website centered around certified businesses and the Green Business Certification program.
A directory allows visitors to browse and filter certified businesses by type, with results presented as both an easy-to-navigate list and an interactive map. This provides greater visibility for participating businesses while making the program’s growing community easy to explore.
A custom content management system gives the City of Santa Monica direct control over businesses, certification information, resources, and website content, allowing the site to remain current as the program evolves.
The responsive design keeps the experience simple and accessible across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
